Oh my gosh, I am never putting her through that again. They stripped her down naked in a cold room and strapped her to a hard plastic board with her hands so high and tightly above her head that her shoulder popped when they were taking her arms out and the velcro strap across her legs were cutting into her chunky little thighs. She screamed through the whole thing (40 agonizing minutes), I dont think in pain but because she was so uncomfortable. It was horrible and I was a wreck. Surprisingly she is fine now and seems to have forgotten the whole thing (thank god). Her Dr says we probably wont have any results until Monday so this is going to be a looooong weekend! How is Aja feeling? Have you heard anything back yet?

When my son was born I seen one of those exay machines for babiesI didn't want to warn you about the machine they are as nasty looking as you can get glad to hear it is over. Just remember you will do what you have to do for your child no matter what in the future, even if she has to have another one if can and is being done all the time to kids.

That sounds awful and I can imagine how you were a wreck. I was that way and Aja was unconcious. Did she poop the barium out yet? How was that?:) We have not heard anything. Remember, no news is usually good news:)

Thanks Lisa, your right, even though I say I will never do it again, if it means her health, I would :-) E, It looks like they got most of the barium out before they finished because all she had was some whitish poop an hour later but thankfully no poop explosion! hehe.. You will have to let us know as soon as you hear anything back on Ajas results. I know everything is going to be fine.

I am happy to report that Jadyns Dr called me first thing this morning to let me know that everything in the xrays looks normal and it is now highly unlikely that she suffers from Hirschsprungs. I was so happy to hear this. They say it seems more than likely it is her formula causing the problem and since she previously tore, that has not completely healed causing her to cry whenever she goes. The medication she is on has softened her BMs and she is no longer crying so now we just need to focus on getting that tear healed which they say could take several weeks because of where it is at but I am giving her 15 minutes in a warm bath each night as well as applying Hydrocortizone Cream 1% twice a day and A&D with every diaper change in between so hopefully we will get this healed sooner. Thanks to everyone for your concern and kind words. I am a bit of a panicer and really needed it!
