Tomorrow is my 10 week old's first day at day care:( She is br___tfed and I don't know how much milk to pack for her. I was thinking 4 4oz. bottles, but I'm not sure. I don't want to take too much because I don't know if the day care would feed it to her after it was in their fridge for a full day. I know I should have asked them already, but I didn't and I am nervous and stressed about this as it is. Anyway, does anyone know I how much milk she will need tomorrow?? Thanks in advance!

I would say maybe 5 4oz bottles to be safe? You can always send less or more the next day depending on how much she eats. Breastmilk is good for 48 hours in the fridge. Some books say longer. You should pack extra the first day just in case. Then play it by ear later.

I plan on giving my provider some bags of frozen milk to keep on hand if she needs it. Just count how many times your little one eats during the day and do 4 oz bottles then. That's what I plan to do anyway. Probably 4 4 oz bottles and if she doesn't drink it the one day she can the next.
