My daughter is 9 weeks old and I try to interact w/ her as much as possible. She is so funny how she babbles and I love it when she smiles at me or giggles a little bit. Sometimes I feel like I'm doing enough I play w/ her on the floor w/ her baby einstein play gym, we go for walks sometimes. She only can tolerate about 2 hours and than it seems like she's fussing so I put her in her swing and turn on baby einstein and she falls asleep. Is it normal for a baby this age to be like this where they sleep every few hours or am I jsut boring her?

yes...she will sleep every few hours. My little boy did up until he was about 3 1/2 months. Im like you...i am VERY interactive with my baby. Sometimes i think too much..lol...:) but now my baby is almost 5 months and he maybe sleeps 1 1/2 hours during the whole day...BUT he sleeps all night...which i am VERY thankful for. Im sure you know. But i sometimes think that he gets bored with me becasue i'll be playing with him for a while and someone else will come in and he'll start giggling and talking...because im with him seriously all day long...by myself. But babies that young will sleep like that...and i like baby einstein too. It is the only thing logan will actually sit and watch. :)

K- My son does the same thing. He wakes up at 8am, eats and plays, then 2 hours later he gets cranky, a sign to put him in the swing with Baby einstein(galileo) and off asleep he goes. Its a routine I go through every day and he still continues now being 8 months old. In the afternoon however, with this routine he used to have another two more naps(3-5, 7-8p.m) . But he now skips 3-5 nap and stays up longer-4hrs and then when he sleeps at 8 p.m, I see him the next morning again.
