I took my son to his 4 month appointment, I had to fill out a questionare and it mentioned if there were any family members that have traveled to a third world country recently. My MIL is coming back from the philipines next week. I forgot to ask my doctor if I need to keep Caleb away from her for a while....does anyone know if this is a problem?

I thought you were offering to send mine there. Ask your doctor or look to see if there are health warnings for that region that yoru son hasn't been vaccinated for.

Good questions, my MIL is also from a third world country and will be coming in January to watch him for me when I go back to work. My grand mother is also who has watched him for me recently. I will have to check that out. Never taught of that:-

Every country, thirld world or not, carries their own diseases. You need to find out what is going on in the Philipines. Also, I don't know what country you are from, but, when someone is coming to the US (legally) there are shots that the emba__sy requires them to take bf getting the Visa.

TC the MIL just went for vacation. Regarding what country I am from I am from the USA and all my shots are up to date. I have the visited another country in about 18 years. I did talk to my doctor yesterday and she said as long as she is not sick and coughing, what we need to worry is about TB.
