I am a mother for the second time and I need some help because I don't recall it being this way with my first. I have a 2 week old little boy and it seems that he crys a lot he seems to be really fussy and only really wants to eat or be held. He sleeps a lot which is good but when he is up he just seems to cry more than I can remember with my first. Granted I was only 17 when I had my first and he is now 6 I feel I am a lot more patient but he seems to just want to be held does anyone think he will grow out of this and around when just need some opinions. Thanks!

All babies are different. He probably has a completely different personality than your first. My baby was very easygoing - my sister had one the next year that was how you describe yours. Hope he settles down for you!

You're little boy maybe suffering from gas. My daughter was crying a lot the first few weeks and I bought bottles to help prevent colic and they seemed to work - although may have been a coincidence. They were Dr Brown bottles. Good Luck!

I was in your shoes a few weeks ago. My son is 5 weeks now and it has settled quite a bit. I have been giving him gas drops.

My son was similar and now at 4 months he is the best baby. I think he had gas too. I gave him the gas drops as well. I like to think they helped a little but I'm not sure. I can't remember exactly but by 6 weeks he was sleeping through the night. I also went back to work then so it was nice to get on a schedule. Are you b___stfeeding? I did both and found out it was the b___st milk that gave him the gas. I weaned him for 1 day and the gas was gone. However, he was screaming more than ever because he wanted to b___stfeed. I said well I guess I'll continue b___stfeeding and luckily everything worked out for the best.

Well I b___st feed for about a week and I was having a lot of pain so I decided to switch I think he is doing ok with the Formula but it may be making him just a bit constipated. The doctor gave me something for that but have not tryed it will do and see if that helps. However for the last few days he seems to be doing better though he is only a couple of weeks he only is waking in the night to eat so I hope it gets better.
