My daughter Quinn is an awful napper too. She's almost seven months now and for about the last month to month and a half she's started napping on her own. Okay she falls asleep when I'm nursing her or someone's holding her and she doesn't wake up when we put her down. Of course we have the "plug" ready and waiting in case she does stir but you get the idea. She still will only sleep for 30 mins. max though three times a day. It's like the little sucker is on a timer. Don't think I'm complaing though, she goes to bed at 7:30pm and gets up at 8am waking only once to eat and then right back to sleep. I guess it's a trade off for me. I haven't thought of anything that could get her to nap longer and being able to put her down was something that she grew into. I think your little girl will grow into it too. Give her a little more time.
