We had about 5 inches yesterday, and that makes such a mess.My dogs are loving it though. They keep wanting to go in and out. They are such brats LOL.BTW, I am in Oklahoma, and it's funny, you can tell they are not used to snow here, one flurry and they all go to the grocery store to buy flashlights, milk bread etc.

liz- most of my family lives in Buxton, right near the high school. My husband and I used to live in Hollis, loved that area. But now we live in Portland, near the water.. very nice. I have two children, my son will be turning 2 on the 13th and my daughter is almost 3 weeks old. It has been a challenge trying to adjust to having two! I know what you mean, most of my friends are still single with no babies! They are just at different points in their life. I am also 26, well - I will be tomorrow :) . How old is your kiddo?

I am SO jealous! I grew up in Colorado & loved the snow. Now I live in California and the weather is always the same.......I wore a short-sleeved shirt to work today. I don't even own a coat! I miss snow & thunder storms! I really would love to have a white Christmas, it just doesn't feel like Christmas here.

Hey I'm in Oregon and we've had lots of snow here too. It's been about 29 degrees here during the sunny days. Hope y'all are driving carefully! Be safe!

Pretty neat that there are fellow Mainers out there!!! That's awesome ...Speaking of the snow and it being a pain in the A--. Our driveway is over 1,000 square feet long and everytime it snows it cost like $75.00 to have it plowed errrrrrr. Nice to meet you kris10!

Heavenly, I live in a suburb of Cleveland. About 2 hours from Marion or Columbus!

Nice to meet u too steven's mom :) Loved seeing the snow, but glad it is all cleaned up now. Portland does a horrible job at plowing the roads!!! Moving my car last night I got it stuck in the MIDDLE of the street!! My car normally does really well in this stuff too... oh well. Anywho.. I could never live anywhere but Maine.

Hey Kris10,we got about 14 inches uckk! I have a mustang gt,my husband tried to get it out and it just made it worst. We had to call tow guy to come get it out today. At least my car insurance covered that. I'm happy for it to be gone for now. They do a terrible job with plowing here too. bye :O)
