I put my son in a sleeper with socks on even when the house is warm and it's warm outside, but he tends to get hot, but even if i have him in a onsie his feet and hands get cold, help???

My son has always been a hot bodied little guy also. My Mother in Law has a fit when I just put a onsie on him. If he gets cold, just lay a lightweight blanket on him. Don't swaddle, just lay it on him.

Careful with overheating the baby. It's even more harmful than them being a little cool. Old-school people like parents and in-laws believe that hot is better than cold but that's not the case. OK for the hands to be cold, and as for the feet, some comfortable fitting socks will do the trick.

our dr. told us that babies hands and feet are naturally colder than the rest of them and if you try to dress them to warm the feet/hands you will actually over heat them. we were told to feel the back of the neck, that is an accurate temp gauge.
