My baby has dry skin and my midwife told me to use oilve oil on her skin. What's the diffrence in using olive oil, canola oil, etc, and then using the actual baby oil? Which do you think is best? Thanks

I dont know, maybe all natural ingredients, as opposed to baby oil? Absorbs more into the skin? You'll have to let us know if you notice a difference.... Wonder if Mineral Oil would work too then?

Well I got a second opinion from my other midwife, and she said the oilive oil, almod oil etc is more natural than the baby oil. But she also said that it's a good idea not to use anything. She said the baby's skin should get used to the air and eventually it will produce it's own oil to 'moisutrize' the skin.
