Christy-yes it is the snowbelt I will probably go crazy this winter! I used to work in Highland Heights. I think you could do lunch how old is your little guy? I have a 3 yr. old named Ben as well.

I would definitely say to take him out to lunch. I think the Baby Bjorn is about the same thing as Tina was talking about. I work in Mayfield Village, and the drive in the wintertime from Parma to work can really be a big pain!

Rachael- do you work for Progressive? I used to work for Novacare Outpatient Rehab on Beta and the westsiders who worked with me HATED the drive in the winter. They said the drive would be fine until the minute they hit 271N off 480. Then it would be a whiteout. I used to live in Mayfield Village, so I know about being in the snowbelt. Hudson gets some, but not as bad as up north and east. Anyway, I have tentative plans for lunch tomorrow. I am going to feed the little bugger before we go and hopefully that will keep him placated while we eat. He generally likes to sleep in the afternoon between feedings, so we'll see.

BTW- if I was to use the Baby Bjorn, wouldn't it be kind of tough to eat with Ben's head right under my chin? I'd be a afraid of getting food on the top of his head! LOL!

Christy, that will be fun! Yes, I do work at Progressive. It is a wonderful company but the drive is aggravating most days, but especially 271 in the winter. People act like it never snows in Cleveland! Sometimes it takes hours to go to or from work. I hate that part. Moving out here is not an option either because all my family lives in Parma, and they are my free baby sitters. Gotta take the good with the bad!

Rachael- I know a few people who work there. My husband has looked at Progressive (he is a software architect) but does not think he wants to continue working in the insurance industry (he is currently at Westfield-also a long, but less aggravating drive.) Are you on maternity leave now and will you be going back full-time when it is over?
