Just thought I'd share, Asjani claps her hands now...She loves patty cake! Still isn't crawling forward yet...but will do a weird backward crawl...MIL suspects she will just start walking...and will never truly crawl..She turned 7 months old on Thursday and still has no teeth!

Aww, that's so exciting! Lucas will be 4 mos on Saturday. He wants to sit up by himself. I think he is going to bypa__s rolling. She probably will just get up and start walking soon! What a cutie pie!

my dd does the backward crawl too a friend of mine that works in day care said within a few weeks of starting the backwards crawl she will start moving forward and at a family party the other day my dd was intently watching my cousins 11 month old (3 months older than my dd) crawl and immediatly started lifting herself longer and higher off her belly (dd started sitting great at 3 1/2 months after watching the same baby sit and lean foward for toys)

I love that our babies are the same age! Amaya has started clapping also and just the other day took off crawling forward. She went from rocking back and forth on her hands and knees to just crawling like she had been secretly doing it for years! It was so funny! She would crawl and then yell, like she was saying HEY LOOK AT ME, THIS IS WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!!! lol Amaya still has no teeth but I am ok with that, once they get teeth you have to start watching for holes in nippes and them biting their tongue! lol Do you have a Christmas Tree put up? Amaya has unwrapped all the presents at least once and loves the bows! We have no ornaments on the bottom half of the tree because she can get to them. So funny! Well my little Drama Queen is ringing again so I gtg.

My daughter never really crawled, she would scoot around on her bum, and roll across the floor to get places! Toya ~ thats so sweet that she plays patty cake! Does she like peek-a-boo?

Yes, she is very fun...She loves peek-a-boo as well...She anticipates everything that I do now and just thinks it's so funny when I jump up and startle her! Stephanie, I will be getting a tree on the 15th. :) (Payday!) I'm very excited about her first Christmas. It is awesome that Amaya is crawling forward! Asjani seems like she is scared to forward for some reason...She gets on her hands and feet and rocks back and forth and sometimes will take a leap like a frog. Narcissus, I will post some new pictures of Asjani. I have a photosite webpage for her. Momma, how old is your dd?
