FF, just remembered you asked me in a post what kind of name is Asjani and what does it mean. My husband named her and just made it up out of nowhere. I've looked through different books and internet sites to see if Asjani just happens to have a meaning, but I haven't found anything...it is totally original. Her name is Asjani Iman. I named her Iman, which means believer of God and it is arabic. Asjani is pronounced, "ahz-JOHN-ee".

That is really cool! I just think it's so pretty and femanin (sp?)!

Iman also means in spanish "magnet".Just thought I'll mention that!

I LOVE CHRISTMAS MOVIES AND MUSIC! I have had Jessica Simpsons Christmas Album in my car for the past month. I love Rudolph and A Christmas Story (You'll Shoot your eye out! lol) Merry Christmas everyone! Did everyone get their christmas tree put up? Amaya loves looking at the lights but still has not tried to get to anything under it.

I love Rudolph! And The Christmas Story. We are going to put our tree up this weekend. Lucas is going to love the lights! I can't wait for him to see them!

I miss TV!!! I love those movies...:( Looks like I'll just have to buy them.

Anyone know how to keep my b___h a__s cat out of our tree? She ruined one already by bending the branches. My solution is lock her in the bas____nt but the DH won't let me! It's Emma's first Xmas and even though she's just 7 wks old, I still want to set it up and she loves to look at the lights. I swear I can set her swing in front of it and she'll stare at it for hours!!!!

First of all,I love animals,and cats are just very curious.What I do every year is -if you are there- keep a spraybottle handy and use it on the cat when they get too close to the tree.Also red (or black) pepper on the tree works wonders.They hate it.!!!!!

Like regular pepper? My cat gets in it only at night when we're sleeping. One day I came home and found the d__n thing laying on the floor with the ornaments spread all over the house. And it's a fake tree! I bought a real narrow one thinking she couldn't get her fat a__s in it!!! I love my cat too but I hate her during Xmas!!!!

Ahhhhh....the joys of Cats & Christmas Trees! I got my kitty Jezebel as an early Christmas present in 2000, she was just a tiny kitten. Anyway, one day I came home from work and couldn't find her......I was freaking out thinking maybe my roomate had accidently let her out. After about 20 minutes of frantically searching the entire house I see her little face peeking out from between the branches of the tree. She had climbed up there and fell asleep, it was sooooo cute. The next Christmas she was pretty big and in an attempt to climb the tree again she knocked the whole thing over, it would have been funny if it didn't take me an hour to get the tree back right again. Now that she is 5 she has mellowed alot, she loves to sit under the tree, but her climbing days are over. I don't know that there is much you can do to keep them away from the tree, the curiosity is just too strong. =)

Yes Heidi,regular pepper,the kind you use on food,I have to say red pepper works better than black pepper.I had the same problem,4 years ago one of my cats knocked my whole tree down,I was so p__sed,I almost upgraded my cat into a permanent x-mas ornament!!! j/k. Thats when a friend of mine told me about the pepper and it has worked great.I hope it works for you too!!

I'm gonna go season my tree right now! One time I took a branch after her thinking she'd hate the tree after that but nope!

OMG Stehanie A Christmas Story is my ultimate Christmas movie. Last year While i was still preg. i bought the special edition to watch every year with Keston! Ho Ho Ho!!!
