Scared Of Getting Pregnant

Is anyone else in this boat? My daughter was born in March and my husband and I have resumed our s_x life recently. The problem is, I'm terrified of getting pregnant again. It was pretty easy for us to conceive the first time and I'm fearful of getting pregnant again so quickly. We want another child, just not yet. I've been on the pill since my daughter was 4 weeks and I'm religious about it, but I have the "if I can't see it, it's not working" phobia. My husband hates condoms, as do I, so I don't want to have to go back there. It's hard to enjoy s_x because all I can think about is "am I getting pregnant right now?" Is this normal to feel this kind of apprehension or am I just being paranoid?

My hubbs and I are in the same boat. I gave birth in April and before they would put me on BC I had to have a pregnancy test done. (we resumed our s_x life days after I gave birth) I told hubbs about the test and his eyes bugged out of hsi head but his response was, we cant have another baby right now but if its what god wants then we will do it. Of course it came back neg and we were relieved. Im constantly worried that BC wont work right with me. Either I can still get pregnant or something horriable like it does some horriable effect of me and Im not able to have babies again. We want to have children in 3-5 years.

Maybe you can try spermicide foams or sponges since your husband doesn't like condoms. Birth Control is pretty effective, I still use back up though since I'm not ready for another as well. It's normal to have the feelings that you have, your already being careful with the pill, go to the pharmacy and look around, it never hurts to try something new.

WAY NORMAL!!! I was the same way.Just keep taking your pills and the same time every day you should be fine but if your that scared maybe you need to use the condoms.
