My daughter is only 8 weeks old, and I know you're not supposed to put them on thier stomachs to sleep, but I have been having a hard time getting her to let me put her down to sleep. I usually have to hold her. I've been trying to put her down in bed but she always wakes up usually within 5 mins. I put her on her tummy the other day and she fell asleep on her own for about an hour (that has never happned). I tried putting her on her stomach again later for a nap and she slept for about an hour. Do you think it's OK to have her on her stomach or no?

I let my little one sleep on her tummy when I'm around to watch. I've also ordered the Angelcare Monitor that detects the slightest movement. I won't let her sleep on her stomach unattended until I get that hooked up and working right.
