Does anyone elses baby have a stuffy nose all the time(worse at night)? I have called her Dr. and he says it's normal as long as there are no other symptoms and to use a humidifer(sp?) and saline drops and suction out. I do all that and it helps but why is she still so stuffy? I know it can be from the dry heat. Will it get better as she gets older?

Yes, especially the last few nights. I get it too. It is worse at night from the heat. I have been doing the saline drops and suction, which he hates. I was going to get out his humidifier tonight because he had a hard time sleeping last night

They make vicks vapor patches. They work wonders for amaya. We cut them into 4 pieces (one would wrap around her! lol) and put a piece either on her chest or back.

Ah yes, I forgot vicks. I have the baby vicks rub, I rub it on his chest as well. I use the adult vicks under my nose! My friend said the vapor plugs from vicks work well, haven't tried them yet though.

It could be an allergy. If it is worse at night my first thought would be an allergy to dust or mold. Using a humidifier can cause mold that you can't even see to grow in a room. You might want to check with an allergist.

I had the same problem it was just one day. It went away when he napped. Give it time. I know its frustrating

I think it could be the dust. Our house collects alot of dust b/c of where we live. I can get most of it cleaned expect on the blinds. It sticks and I might have to take them down to wash outside :(

We allergy proofed the bedroom by taking up the carpet and putting dustmite cover on the matress. It has helped a lot.

My daughter was having a really bad problem with the snuffles. I heard about using drops of b___stmilk up the nose. I tried it and it cleared up the same day. (I had been struggling with it for weeks.) I just put 2 drops in each nostril every time she finished feeding.
