Well I bought a sounds machine and she slept for 2.5 hours in her crib with the ocean sounds. She didn't like the womb sounds though. I haven't been able to get to sleep again to see if it'll work a second time yet. Everyone keep your fingers crossed!!

We have had 4 successful sleeping periods in the crib. She got fussy last night so my hubby took her for a car ride. She ended up sleeping in her car seat for almost 4 hours!! I'm the proud mommy now.. and also rested for once since she was born. Thanks for all of the tips!

try warming the bed with a hot water bottle before she gets in, it works for me most of the time
