My son is almost 12 weeks old. He weighs somewhere around 15lbs, he is a chunk, and I have to up him to size 3 diapers! He was in newborn for about 3-4 weeks, then in size one for a few weeks, and now the size 2 seem too tight this week! Anyone else's babies flying thru diaper sizes? He is in 3-6 mo clothes, weighed 14lbs 14oz two weeks ago at 2 mo checkup and is 23 3/4" tall.

My baby is 6 weeks old. And seems like we have to upgrade to size 2 diapers pretty soon. Size one feels tight on him, especially Huggies Supreme, they are smaller than Pampers baby dry.

My daughter will be 12 weeks on Wed, and she's still in size 1 at 11 lbs. My older daughter went through diaper sizes and clothes like crazy. Some brands run a lot smaller than others, like White Cloud.

My Danny is 9wks and we use size 3 on him. When he was born he was 9lbs 9oz so he used size 1 for a little while and then we decided to go right to size 3. It just did not make any sense to us to buy a big case of size 2 if he was only going to grow out of it in a couple of days. At his 2mo checkup he was 14lbs 4oz and 24" long.

My baby is is 6 months and 6-9 month clothes are too short. He wears a size 4 diaper, with my 17 month old. He is about 17lbs and I know he's pretty long.

I must have a little runt. My son is five and a half months old and I just put him in size 2 diapers. he is around 14lbs.

My son is 6 months and weighs 23 pounds and wears size 3 diapers. However I noticed based on the weight range he could wear size 3 or 4. Size 3 still seem to fit and you get more in the box so I will stick with those as long as possible.

My son is 7 months old and flew through sizes at first. He is 30 in long and 24 lbs! My little monster! I had to give bags of diapers away because he literally grew out of a size in a week!! He is in size 4 now. I find different brands have different styles. Mostly he grows out of them around his waist...too tight.

Amaya's mommy aka Stephanie - November 5

I agree with some of the other posts that it depends on the brand of diapers. I found that luvs and pampers ran a little smaller than huggies. Amaya would be in size 4 diapers with pampers but she is in size 3 with huggies. She is 6 months and 18lbs.

My daughter is 9 mo., almost 10,,is 30 inches long and weighs 20 lbs, in Pampers Cruisers she wears size 4. I really dont remember much in the beginning but know that she switched from newborn diapers to size 1 quickly.

WOW....lol my son is almost 2yrs. he can still wear size 4 but i started buying size 5, cause he would go through his diaper at night. i think he will be able to stay in size 5 until i potty train him..and that will be within months. before new baby gets here in may. he weights 29lbs. he is tall.

Matthew is 4 months old but wears 9 to 12 months clothes ! He weighs 18lbs and is very tall - I use diapers stage 3.

My daughter is just under 3 months and is in size 2 dipes. I *think* she prolly weighs around 14 pounds - she was 11 lbs 11 oz at her 2 month check up a month ago. So I'm guessing she's gained about 3 pounds since then.

My son is 16 lbs and over 25" he is in size 3 and they fit him a little snug around the waist. He went straight from size 1 to 3 because someone gave me 228 diapers in size one I didnt want to waste any.
