I was just wondering when your little ones started smiling. My boy is almost 2 mos and usually only smiles in his sleep (sometimes he'll even laugh), but he doesn't smile at me yet.

Steph started really smiling around 2 months, I think it is the greatest feeling in the world, she is now 14 weeks and she now smiles back at me when I smile at her

My daughetr started smiling at about 3-4 weeks, but I think she wasn't smiling at me or anything funny, instead she smiled and laughed when she pa__sed gas or pooped, at about 3 months she began smiling at people she liked and knew or at her favorite toys

My son started smiling at us at about 2-3 wks. He stared talking to us at about 4wks. Now he is almost 11wks and he smiles and laughs and coos at anybody that would talk to him. He "sings" and makes extremely loud noises. I think he likes to talk a lot just like his Mama.

Nadya was smiling at 4.5 weeks. Now she's 8.5 weeks, smiles most of the time, squeals with delight if she finds something funny, and the cutest thing is that she tries to have conversations with us now. I have no idea what we're saying to each other, but she finds it hilarious! :)

my son started smiling when he was also about 4 weeks...i would notice in his sleep he would give a half smile like almost as i fhe was saying..Mommy your silly! Sometimes that can be just gas..so you will definatley know the difference when he smiles..Usuallly they will smile if they are content witht heir surroundings...if they are really excited like my son..they will coo into mid air alone by himself...its the best thing ever to hear or see because even though you know they love you ..they have no way of letting you know! But when it happens your heart will just gleam with happiness its a comletley UNEXPLAINABLE feeling
