I have been and took Leigh to a parents and toddler group this morning. She seemed to enjoy it, although she was rather shy. I'll try again next week hopefully she will open up a bit. It must be strange for her, shes never been to anything like that before.

hey gals, isabelle is 6 weeks old today! :-) i know how you feel lisa. it wouldn't be so bad if isabelle didn't cry like the whole time i was gone.

Hey girls how is everybody. Shannon girl I'm thinking about telling My boss that I'm not coming back b/c Jaleel make my third child and I need more money. I'm thinking about finding another job. which I am his only employee. And he trust me a lot with his business and his money. We have grown to have a father and daughter relationship. Which sucks b/c it make it hard for me to make a decision. Well I'll talk to yall soon. I have Jaleel in the other arm and he's fussing b/c he's tired and wants to nap

Ben is 1 month today. How fast has this last month gone! I wash my pregnancy seemed so fast haha. Going to get the clothes for christmas today. John is set on getting a little christmas pudding outfit for Ben. I've just tried to look for it online but can't find it :-( It is really cute! Only thing is it costs £12. Not a lot of money I know but he will only be wearing it once. I suppose It could be sold on Ebay after christmas.

Lesley, i'd go for it. i saw a really adorable halloween costume and i wish i'd gotten it, even though isabelle was only like a week old on halloween. isabelle had an appointment today and she's 21 1/2 inches and 10 lbs on the dot. she has her 2 month aapointment in a couple weeks, and she's gonna get 4 shots then. she had a hep B shot today and cried little tears, my poor little girl.

Lesley - December 8

But I think £12 is a lot of money to spend on something that will be worn once. He has very few clothes that fit him as it is. I need to go shopping for more for him. I'm going to look round charity shops later today see if I can find anything.

Shannon - December 8

well, as long as you're not going to regret it later. i regretted not getting that costume. i have a cute little red dress for isabelle to wear for christmas. :-)

lisa - December 8

lesley look on ebay if you want cheep clothes, ive got loads of stuff for jasmin thats nearly new at abot 1 pound per item, just search for baby in baby area or 0-3months in baby area

Lesley - December 8

I hope I don't regret it. Theres not a lot I do regret though. I went shopping today (again!) supposed ot get Leigh's trainers, but ended up getting them all clothes haha! Went in a charity shop, got some adidas trainers, brand new for £1. They will keep for Ben :-)

Mary - December 8

Sorry I cannot write much. I am still trying to get used to my new lifestyle, specifically on how to get sleep thru the day as I do not sleep much at night. How much so you girls sleep in average? I sleep about 1 ad 1/2 hours in between feedings so about 4 and 1/2 hours per night. I have not been successful at sleeping during the day as Jaime does not sleep much. he sleeps in little amount of half hour or so. Also, I have a question about my b___bs! I am b___stfeeding every 6 hours (part time formula) and my b___st have deflated and I no longer get engorged. My nipples have also deflated, everything is very flacid and I am not sure I have enough milk. Is it normal to have my b___sts feel almost like they felt before getting pregnant? Thanks so much for your answers. Jaime is a month old today and like you sayd Lesley, time flies. :)

lisa - December 8

mary feeding is supply and demand, so i guess if you use formula sometimes your body will produce less, they say now that the reason in the past womens milk production dried up was because of using formula to supliment

Lesley - December 8

I sleep about 8 hours in total a day. Sometimes I might get more if John is feeling nice. I have b___stfed all 3 of my children and do you kow what! I have no idea what engorged is. I get the odd pain now and again but I just a__sume thats the milk? I ma__sage it a bit and it goes away.

Lesley - December 8

OK, i sound so numb haha! I od know what it is, but don't know what it feels like. I am not sure if the pains I get is that...... I'm off ot bed now! haha I'm so tired!

Shannon - December 9

morning girls! how is everyone today! i feel pretty good cuz i just had an almost 2 hr nap with the baby and she's still asleep. :-) i think our dumb cat is waking her up though. i want to strangle him. he gets hyper and runs all around the house making racket and playing with anything. sometimes i seriously have to force myself not to get violent with him. anywho, i'm sick of being bored when the baby's asleep. i think instead of trolling the internet for anything remotely interesting or watching the same old c___p on TV i'm going to start crocheting again, it's so relaxing, or read. when i'm bored i'm reminded that i'm alone practically all day. oh, yesterday i told the dh that i don't like how i feel lately that i don't matter to him except to be a babysitter of sorts. this morning the told me that he loved me and kissed me goodbye, which he hasn't done in a long while, so that's a start i guess. we don't really fight, we just don't have argumentative personalities for one thing. i tell him what's bothering me or i start crying and he does just about anything to make me feel better. wow, it's amazing how feeling well rested makes everything feel better! i don't envy you at all, Mary. yeah Lesley, the pains you get is probably it. when i haven't nursed in a while they feel engorged- really full and painful, sometimes a little tingly even.

Barb - December 9

hi ladies....it's been a ehile,I know, but I'm just not finding alot of time to chat anymore....Trinity still isn't gaining weight :( and when I went to the doctor yesterday she said I have to give her only formula for a whole week! I've been exclusively b___stfeeding and I'm now going through a depression bc she's not gaining...the doc. told me to pump and store my milk for the week and I have to write down everytime she feeds and go back to see her next thursday to see if there's any weight gain. If there's not, then she'll draw blood to see if it's a medical reason...but she thinks I just don't have enough milk.....she's just not getting enough, which I guess is possible bc she's sooo much more satisfied with a bottle. but....I'm still putting her to my b___st as often as I can so she suckles enough to keep my milk. She had her 3 shots yesterday and is just not herself today...running a fever of 100.3 so she's sleeping alot.....I'll keep everyone posted on her...PLEASE keep her in your prayers...she's 8 weeks old now and still weighs 7lbs.13oz...BUT...she gained in inches :) 2 inches longer (22" now) and she's hitting all of her milestones for this age...smiling,cooing..ect...so everything else looks good :) just needs to pack on a few pounds....wish I could just give her a few of mine...haha! ok...I'm going to go cudle with her now...let me know if you guys have a some good suggestions on building up my milk. I drink a ton of water and my doctor suggested eating fennel seeds?? drinking mother's milk tea??? anyone heard of these??? any success?? ...love to you all :)
