Lovely,(a.k.a biker chic) - December 1

This is a thread, dedicated to all the ROCKER moms, who despise Mini-vans! Moms whose kiddies can sing lyrics to Theory of a deadman or Aerosmith songs before nursery rhymes. Moms who show up to school wearing black AC/DC t-shirts instead of Prada. (and we don't give a damn!) We don't join PTA or Girl Guides, we'd send the prissy girls crying to the bathroom. Maybe we drink now and then, and dance on the dance floor by ourselves. We STILL don't give a damn! We love our kids as much as our knee-high black boots and our Men love us for it! Make no mistake about it, we are not white trash, but cross us, and we'll kick your ass like we were! Welcome to "RocKer Moms"

LOL...well, I'm probably one of the prissy girls you'd beat up, but I fully plan on teaching my daughter all the good tunes. 8^)

Lovely - December 1

anyone who's prissy and can admit it is welcome in RocKer Moms.... you don't own a mini-van though, do you? lol! If you do, initiation is learning a whole Metallica song or swearing out loud instead of saying "Oh, Fudge!"

Chelsey - December 1

And maybe a signature... in blood ofcourse!

Jamie - December 1

LOL...I definately do NOT own a minivan...and I already know Metallica songs...well, only the stuff from the Black album and earlier, cause the newer stuff sucks IMO.

monica - December 1

lol can i join....even if I am prissy....I hate mini vans with a pa__sion.....

I think it's the snow... ever try to wear designer shoes in minus 40? For the signature, blood seems a little Goth, we're RocKer Moms...so how about it be in Tattoo ink!!!

Jamie - December 1

As long as I don't actually have to get a tattoo...lol...I don't like needles, you see...

Jbear - December 1

Let's see...I show up at the playground in black shirts and faded jeans, with a lot of dangly silver jewelry, sort of a contrast to the other moms in their pastel shirts and tan slacks (the ann taylor fashion dolls)...My three year old can sing "Shout at the Devil"...When my three month old is fussy, nothing quiets her down like some loud rock music...I've been known to drink not just beer, but (gasp!) some actual hard liquor now and then...Oh, if there's an initiation for mini-van owners, there should be one for the Suburban or Excursion owners, especially if they have any of those sport/activity school decals on the back window.

chelsey - December 1

Hard liquor is the Devil's drink, Jbear! Just kidding! If I didn't get all "reservation" off of Rye, I'd drink it more often! Out of curiosity, was does everyone drive? And what the hell time is it where you people are?!!!!

Lovely - December 1

*Sigh* I HATE SNOW!!!! Oh, and if you have an SUV, that's ok, but it has to have a sticker on the back that says "My kid can beat the hell out of your Honor student"... hee hee.. Jbear, I gasped out loud when you mentioned pastel shirts and tan slacks! Oh the HORROR!!!!!! LOL!

chelsey - December 1

Whoops! - December 1

I meant alreaDy, and chelsey... sorry!

Chelsey - December 1

From Brandon, MB.....lived there most of my life. If not there, then in one of the surrounding towns. I've been in Calgary for about 6 years almost. Are you born and raised in Winterpeg?

Jamie - December 1

I drive a BMW 520i...but only cause BMWs are CHEAP here. I haven't had anything alcholic since last Christmas...but the last thing I drank was tequila. :) I won a drinking contest against a guy close to twice my size...and a week later, I found out I was 6 weeks pregnant! LOL
