well I just took him a bath decided to take it now while he is happy and not fussy. He didnt cry at all.....since the tub will not allow him to slip I think he feels safer... and this was a lot easier for me....now... hopefully tonight he will sleep 8 hours straght :)

That hands free operation of it is the best feature. If he learns to enjoy kicking the water it will wear him down and sleep easier. Did you find a place to store that thing? We kinda stand it up next to the bathtub :-)

Its funny, you both mentioned before that your babies are too big for the newborn bathtubs..... Gabriel just graduated from the bathroom sink into his little newborn bath a few weeks ago! Either he really is smaller, or we have a big bathroom sink! I checked out those euro baths, they look really nice! Think they make them in my size?

I stored it inside the bathtug leaning against the wall. The tub is so big it would take half the bathroom. Does anna still get swaddled? I am sure you already know this but Kiddopotamus makes a great sack...Caleb loves it and I dont have to worry that he will pull it over his head or get uncovered at night.

Chelsea I was thinking the same with the tub, the stroller, the swing...... we were strolling yesterday and Anna was all bundled up in her foot-muff sleeping away while we were freezing our buns off :-) Ah! The life of an infant! Monica we had to abandon swaddling because our apartment gets too hot. She seems like the moro reflex is not much of an issue anymore and she wears a "sleeper" which is more than enough in that steam heat.

Also chelsey and monica, how are your little ones doing at night? Still fussy? Do they fall asleep by themselves? Anna has cut down quite a bit but she still makes that siren noise when she's tired, but since we learned that it's overstimulation we're not as paranoid anymore. Unfortunately she wants to be rocked and walked to sleep by yours truly and since she's 16 lbs 5 oz, yours truly is getting a sore back!

oh my goodness Anna is over 16 lbs...Ya I have a bad back now because of caleb :)
I have not weighed him lately so I am not sure how much he weighs. He usually goes to sleep without any problems but last night he didnt want to go to sleep....I think it was his stuffy nose...so I put him in his car seat and he fell asleep until around 5 but was not too hungry so I changed his diaper and he fell back to sleep until around 8. Yes things are getting better but still not super easy.... I will tell Caleb one day when he is older how he was as a baby...and how he gave me some gray hair... ;)

Hi BBK! Glad to hear Anna is growing so big! Sorry to hear about your back! Gabriel is sleeping through the nights still! He's woken up once or twice since he started, but I dont mind.... he's been such a good boy! I feed him, bath him, play with him, feed him again...then I put him in his bed, and he falls asleep on his own. Usually it between 8 and 9p.m. by the time I'm done! Remember... I'm trying to bath a toddler, and get her ready for bed too! He really isn't a fussy baby, just a little during the day, if he gets tired and isn't in his crib. Is it cold in NY? Sure is here! Thought it was going to snow last night... so far just rain. (calling for "wet flurries" tonight!) Is Anna talking and laughing? Gabriel is, and I just melt everytime he smiles a toothless grin!

monica, gray hair? Yea... somehow he'll think it's funny when he's a teen. Maybe when he has kids he'll appreciate it more. chelsey I just checked your site! Wow well done webmaster! Unbelievable at how big and different Gabriel looks! He's is really adorable! It's getting cold, but I'm sure not like Canada. I was in Montreal on the weekend and that was cold! Regardless the NY cold is wet and it gets to you. Anna talks a lot now! She probably ties to tell me all the new things she has seen. She mostly likes it when people sing to her and tries to immitate them. Laughing a lot too, esp before bathtime. No matter how hard of a day I may have had, seeing her makes me forget everything!
