ok, my 4 week old was just sitting on the couch (propped up, she likes looking around from that position) when she projectiled hurled like that girl from the exorcist. i know baby's spit up and stuff but is it a lot like my baby just did and does it shoot out like that? or is my baby sick? she's been acting ok. she's had some greenish poop lately, not just mustard yellow. this has happened before. i'm a little worried here.

Did she just eat? My son did that a couple of times after eating when he was a baby. Sometimes they just eat too fast or don't burp that well and lose their food. I wouldn't worry about it unless it continues.

If she continues to have projectile vomitting, I would consider looking up information on "Pyloric Stenosis." My son had it when he was 4 weeks old. He became dehydrated, he wasnt having any dirty diapers, and he was losing weight. He had a doctor appointment the next day, but I was very worried, so I took him to the emergency room (I called his doctor and she told me to) and he ended up getting surgery for it two days later. He had been throwing up a lot, when he was about 2 weeks old. His doctor had us try different formulas and everything and nothing worked. But if your daughter just had projectile vomit once, then I would not worry about it. When we were trying to figure out what was wrong with my son, the doctors said that can happen sometimes, especially if the baby is overfed. My son is almost 11 weeks old now and he is doing great.

green poop or green slimy, mucousy poop? cuz slimy poop is usually the first sign that they might have caught a bug or something.
otherwise, my baby did the same thing after i fed her, too. she just hurled it all out with some strange force!
