Ok it's my 30th birthday today and i'm miserable. My husband and i have a 3 month old baby, we don't get alot of time alone together, he is busy with his work and sports etc, never seems to have trouble staying up later if he has something going on outside of home. So he gets home from work today, we go to his parents house for dinner, get home and he goes to bed!!! I thought he would give me at least a little time when our baby went to bed...i just feel like he could have made me a little special on my birthday....am i over reacting?????

I don't think you're overreacting at all. All of us want to be made to feel special, especially on our birthday's! I just don't think men think the same way we do, they don't necessarily mean anything by it. Tell him how you feel, and I'm sure he'll understand. If he still doesn't do anything, then you have a problem! Good luck and happy 30th birthday!

My husband didn't even remember my last birthday (25). I went the whole day depressed. It took my sister calling that night to tell me Happy Birthday before he remembered. He then felt bad and went out and bought me a pair of earings (I'm sure they came from walmart). I wouldn't get too upset. He's just a man.
