Tonight my son cried for about 7 hours. Well, screamed, fell asleep for 30 min and woke up screaming more. I gave him Tylenol, he had no fever, didnt want held, or laid down or entertained or to eat, so I thought he might be constipated, that happens frequently, to I gave the Dr. reccommended enema. No results. He usually doesnt cry like this. What else could it be?

How old is your son? Could he be teething?

Is it crying or whining?

He is 7 months old. When he is not screaming he is whining. Early this morning he had a fever of 101. I took him to the hospital and they don't know. All he said is it could be because he is teething. But he is not like this every day?

Screaming for hours and a fever could indicate an ear infection. If you gave him a new food recently, it could be that it didn't agree with his stomach. He could also have gas. You could try giving him gas drops. If he's teething, you can probably feel bumps on his gums where the teeth are coming in. Sometimes rubbing the baby's gums with your finger or a cold washcloth makes them feel better.
