How could you call a baby BUTT UGLY? That was rude.

My baby's father is vietnamese and i am chinese. The thing is these 2 races don't look too different.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as the saying goes, and I have beheld some BUTT UGLY babies in many different shades! :P My point really was that ugly doesn't discriminate.

I'am black and my fiance is mexican and I havent experienced any looks . Pepole juat say that our daughter is beautiful.

It's really strange because me and my hubby are both white, but I look more like I'm Mexican, and our oldest son looks like he is Japanese but much lighter. Some people have even asked me if he was adopted! I guess genetics can be strange...

Me and hubby are white, so Lucas is too, but my friend is Puerto Rican, beautiful olive skin, dark hair and features, her hubby is a white as can be from West Va boy. They have 3 kids and nobody believes her two daughters are hers, they have light complexions, blonde hair, but the boy looks just like her with the dark hair and skin. It is so funny. They call their kids the puerto rican hillbillies! But they are some of the most gorgeous kids I ever did see.

I agree with Amaya's Mommy aka Stephanie. We are all mixed in some way. I wouldn't be afraid of what anyone had to say about a "bi-racial" baby. God made everyone. It's the innocence and peace that babies possess that make all of them beautiful...imo

I have two children. One has a white father and the other a black. People always look at us weird. One person was so confused because my son said this was his sister. I said these were my children. She's like "really?, they look nothing alike". I'm thinking, are you that dumb? I said really? I had no clue. My daughter is beautiful. It's pretty obvious she's mixed but in the summer she could just look tan I guess. Her hair is soft and really curly.

My sister's children are white/filipino. Her oldest daughter looks pure chinese to the point where my sister gets "kindly" looks from chinese people who think she's adopted a chinese baby! Her 18 month-old son son looks like a first nations baby. I guess the mohawk helps... lol

I am a beautiful african american sistah married to a fillipino american.. Our baby is so beautiful. He has a perfect mixture of both of us. We don't get any strange looks from anyone...

My baby is half czech and half german. People are constantly staring at her and giving us weird looks.

What is mixed anyway? My husband and I are both latino, I am what I guess Americans would call black-latino, my husband fits the stereotype for latino. Will our baby be mixed since we are both latino? That's an insulting concept. Even though we are the same people still would consider us different? For goodness sake, why don't we all get over ourselves. People are people. Babies are babies. They should all be cherished. When can we get past the whole color issue and just be people? I will not worship or love my child for a color or a hair texture (incidentally I really hate to break it to you guys but you don't really know much about history or racial characteristics. i'm going to boil this one down for you. all white people don't have straight hair. all black people don't have kinky hair. all white people aren't fair. all black people aren't dark. just because i black person has straight hair or fair skin doesn't mean that they were ever at any point in time mixed with white. same thing goes for darker skinned white people with kinky hair). I will love my child (I already do) because he's mine, and because he simply is.
