I'm 17 and pregnant. What I'm trying to figure out is if anyone knows of any free clinics in the Bronx,NY area.I can't pay for shots once the baby is born and I have nobody to help me pay.But since I'm under 18 I'm wondering if I can even go to a free clinic for the baby.If anybody has any numbers or websites or any info PLEASE let me know...

contact your local WIC office. they can help you in many ways, including excelent nutrition programs, free food, immunizations, baby care, and b___stfeeding. good for you for thinking ahead! your baby is lucky to have a thoughtful mama.

every state should have a program for pregnany woman...call you local wic office and also ask them about medicaid...they usually pay for everything if you have low income or no income. and the baby will be covered until 3 years old ...depending on the state you live in....hope this helps.

You can go to any Hospital ( Jacobi Hospital) go to the Womens Health Center and you tell them your situation and they will help you get medicaid for you and your child. Medicaid never turns down anyone who is pregnant and with a low income.
