How long did everyone bleed for after having their babies? My daughter is 6 weeks old and i am still bleeding bright red. is this normal?

I had to extend my 6 week follow up by one week just so I could get back to normal. It varies for everyone but you should be fine.

I had my daughter v____ally, and bled for 6 weeks exactly. Had son by c-section, bled for 8 weeks!!! But I did get my period, so it was actually 7 weeks, then one week menstruating.

How do you know when your bleeding stopped and when your period started up? I had bleeding for 5 weeks and then it stopped, well kinda. and then the next day, it started up again bright red for 4 days. it is my period?
Now my baby is close to 5 mth and i still haven't bled at all since then. I b___stfeed him without supplements

When I had my first baby, I was given a Depo shot in the hospital, and it caused me to bleed for three months, sometimes so heavily that I couldn't leave the house. I was worried that something was really wrong with me, but the doctor told me that was a common side effect of the shot.
