My daughter is 3 weeks old and I have been exclusively br___tfeeding her since birth. I have been pumping for the last week and a half. Usually I can get about 4 oz between both br___ts (after feeding her) once per day and today I tried and tried and only got 2 oz. What's going on - am I drying up? What can I do to bring my milk supply back up? Any suggestions would be fantastic!!

I've never b___stfed, but I've read about taking fenugreek (an herb) to help increase your milk supply.

At 3 weeks babies go through a growth spurt. Probably she is drinking more than she used to and leaving less behind for you to pump.

I was going to say exactly what Jenn said. The same thing happened to me at 3 weeks... She will go thru another at 6 weeks (my son ate constantly at this one).

Keep going. It took a couple of months for my wife's milk supply to become stable and steady and to match the baby's needs. Make sure the baby drains one b___st before switching.

I'm so relieved to hear it's not just me! My milk supply seems to go up and down all the time! I've often felt like giving up, but BBK's post has given me hope that it will improve eventually, so thanks. :)

as long as your "letting down" and your baby is wetting and messing up her diapers ..she's probably getting enough...drink a ton of water and my nurse also told me that an occasional gla__s of red wine helps to increase milk flow....it opens the milk ducts up...don't give up...I feel the same way you do but if I gave up and switched to bottles I'd never forgive myself..I love nursing :)
