Why sure we are. After all, we have to be polite, answer all the questions on thiis forum nicely, work or stay home to care for our husbands and children, prepare dinner and do everything in our power to please everyone around us. That means if we have to stay up all night to make these girls feel like they are loved we should deprive ourselves of sleep and by all means answer their questions. I POST ON HERE MAYBE 2-3 TIMES A MONTH AND I DO NOT HAVE ALOT OF TIME TO READ THRU THREADS SO I DONT GET TO ANSWER MUCH BUT I KNOW THAT WHEN I ASK A QUESTION, I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS GETTING ANSWERS FROM EVERYONE WHO CAN HELP. THERE IS NO FAVORITISM THAT HAS BEEN SHOWN TO ME, BUT AFTER READING SOME OF THESE POSTS ABOVE, THERE ARE A FEW PEOPLE THAT HAVE SHOWN THAT THEIR ONLY INTEREST IS TO CAUSE PROBLEMS AND COMPLAIN AND I DO NOT PLAN TO RESPOND TO THEM IN THE FUTURE IF THEY HAVE SUCH HORRIBLE INTENTIONS SO CONGRATS TO THE PEOPLE THAT STARTED COMPLAINING ABOUT FAVORITISM IN THE FIRST PLACE BECAUSE NOW YOU HAVE CREATED IT! GREAT JOB!

I find it funny that people are complaining about the people claiming favortism as being whiny, rude,chidish etc when everyone is behaving that way. And please dont use retardism or being retarded as a being stupid or negative...you are offending people.

How is calling someone retarded offensive? If you are referring to those parents who have special needs children, then I'm pretty sure your not offending them. It WOULD be offensive to call a special needs child retarded though. Understand?

My Aunt is handi-capped. When my brother and I were a lot younger and didn't know any better, we used to tease her about being retarded. She didn't know a lot of things, but she did know what the word retarded was, and would get very upset and cry. I feel so awful that we used to tease her, and regret it so much. Calling someone a retard is an offensive remark. Its offensive to the person who it is meant for, it is offensive for those that read those words. Being stupid or rude is not the same as being retarded. In my earlier post I said "I could not have said it better". Well, yeah I could have said it a lot better. I shouldn't have agreed with the use of the word "retard". It's not right to insult someone by calling them retarded. It offends many people, even if they never hear it.
