Thyler is really distracted when i br___tfeed him. He used to be easier to b/f then all of a sudden, he seem interested in everything that moves, including his own fingers! Then he would turn his head and yank on my nipples. this is so frustrating! Cos after he loses the nipple in his mputh, he gets cranky and refuses to latch on again..

have you tried burping him when he pulls off? this may help him to latch again sometimes if they get distracted while nursing they think there full but its only a gas bubble filling them up, my kids used to do this. 4 months they really start getting into their world distraction is normal, annoying when they twist your nipple though.

I'm so sore..... He still refuses to drink. I have been pumping to feed him from a bottle. My milk flow seems to be low as compared to previous times. Could this be the cause? I'll definitely try burping him later..

are you sore from him not eating(engorgement) or from the nipple yanking? I know that if you are engorged they have trouble latching, also if he's eating less your milk supply will decrease, what they take is what you make. try to contact the La Leche League, they have a forum and TONS more help them me. www.lalecheleague.org hope this helps.

Thats why I chose not to b___st feed. I give you LOTS of credit. I don't really have much advice for you...I'd probably say if he gets distracted, don't feed him anymore. Good luck, nipps hurt!!!
