Help Screaming Son N No Time 4 Myself

i have an 11mth old son who ALWAYS crawls around crying 4 me 2 pick him up. he follows me everywhere and never wants 2 play, he only wants me! it is getting a bit much 4 me lately, i cant go to the bathroom or even clean the house! some days all i do is sit down n cry with him! i have a 4yr old daughter that gets upset with this because now i have no way i can sit down with her and play! i will try anything!!! someone plz help me!!!!!!!

They grow so fast before you know it they'll be grasping for independance although there could specific needs this child may be searching for to be fulfilled try to draw the 4 year old into play as a group between the three of you and don't forget to take time out for yourself . This seems to be a true cuddler so try to draw the child toward smaller children or pets or objects than himself he may absorb his maturity into this and not feel like the smallest most vulnerable creature in existance and so in need of cuddling and to be held .

i went through the exact same situation when my second was born. he was just more cuddly than my first and i had to get used to that. it helped, of course, to just hug and squish him when he wanted it. and also to initiate contact with him so he doesn't feel like HE'S chasing YOU around. a good month or so was all it took for me, and now my son has learned that he can go off and play, and come to mommy when he feels like it to get cuddles. he's much more secure. :)
