Interesting Daycare Preschool Article

They cite preschool as being a culprit of children's poor social behavior. There are many preschool programs that are a half-day long, three days per week with teachers that have 4-year degrees in early childhood education. I planned to enroll Aja into a private and licensed preschool at the age of 3, for a few half days. I will look more closely at the study later.

i work 8 hours a week from home, no big income, just maintaing a webpage. the company i work for i used to work for full time before becoming a mom, it's a small company and i know most of the employees. my hubby works full time at that same company; i'm at home with the kids.

I think it's pretty intersting just looking from the prespective of me and my dh. Dh was a daycare kid who doens't remember alot of his time there and what he does remember he doesn't really like. me on the other hand, I was a stay at home kid who was with mom all the time, as were my brothers. We have great memories of doing little crafty things with her, goig to the park or pool, and otehr stuff. mom was always there. I guess the question we mom's really have to ask is if we could be kids again, would we want to be home with mom or put in daycare all day long? I know i'd always choose Mom. And I did go check that book that Kate suggested. It's interesting to me how many liberals and femnists also think it's great, so it mustn't be too way-outthere. I'll ahve to think about ordering a copy. I have a sister who has four kids in daycare and thinks nothing of it, even tho she only sees them at 6:30 when she picks them up.

Would you say that your husband has inability to form psychological attachments? Does he have problems with cooperation and sharing; “incidents of rage and anger” ?

no, he doesn't, but his three brothers who grewup in daycare all do, we were just talking about that last week, in fact.

I put my older son in a private licensed preschool when he was 3. He has learned so much and he loves it....he is not violet and is very well behaved. He still goes to that school and he is there from 8-5 5 days a week. It may cost a lot but I feel very comfortable with the place and have seen nothing but improvement with my son.

Monica obviously you just misguided or in denial, the study clearly says your child will grow up to be a psychopath becasue you are bad mother who would like to buy food and send your child to college one day. You should be deeply, deeply ashamed! ;oP
