i havent used the maya, i have a friend who makes slings. i LOVE the sling. it's a life saver. my husband still slings our 2 year old. i liked keeping my new baby's close to me when we went out. it keeps them happy and keeps strangers from pawing at my newborns. also great for discreat nursing.

yes, yes, yes!!! I love it and so does my baby! When she is in it she must feel she is right back in the womb. she sleeps for hours in it. it is very comfertable but it takes a few times to get the hang of it. I strongly reccomend one or one like it... there are many slings just like the maya wrap check them all out... you might get a better price on another kind. Good luck

so i received my maya wrap in the mail and tried it on right away, i stuffed it with a pillow (i know, i'm silly!). IT'S SO AMAZING! i can't wait to put my baby in there and go to the park, etc.! it's so beautiful also, i got the olive green one. the best thing is the spare fabric on the one side, that'll be great for b___stfeeding in public, i believe. and what i didn't know: there's a little pocket! how cool! they even sent me a dvd for free! wow, i can't wait! thanks for your responses!
