My dh just came down with a cold. I can tell I am getting it to, which means our son will get it as well, can't wait. But he just called me at work to ask if I could get some chicken soup on the way home because we only have tomato or clam chowder, and he does not feel like cooking since he does not feel good and has been on his feet all day. I told him I will not stop at a store, there is not one on the way and I would get home 30 or 60 minutes later than normal I already do not get enough time with my son, I feel. He gets home from work 2 hours earlier than me. I will be expected to cook with a cold, take care of the baby with a cold. Who will get up all night with a sick baby? That would be me, not him. He is generally a pretty good guy but he makes me so irritated when he is sick. Ugh. Just felt like venting, because I will have to listen to him whine pathetically all night when I get home and take care of the baby all myself, not that I mind, but he is very demanding and I would like a shower. Anyone else's hubby obnoxious when sick?
