Merry F Ing Christmas

I have so many children to buy for. Thats where most of our money is going! My brothers and I are chipping in on a housecoat Mom wants from La Senza. And my brothers, I dont know what to buy them! I already got a new sofa and recliners from Dh, and a new washer and dryer last month, so I'm not expecting anything else from him. Dh is getting a nice size bonus this year from work, so when that comes, I get to shop 'til I drop! He wants to get his Mom a digital camera for christmas! I told him no, and now he's cranky. I was thinking of something a lot cheaper! I know what you mean Jbear, about giving and receiving. Last year we bought stuff for lots of people and their kids, and didn't even so much as get a card from a couple of them! I know its the thought that counts, and Christmas is all about giving... blah, blah, blah... But why is it when we think of getting something for others, they just dont seem to be thinking at all? Anyways, Hailey and Gabriel will be treated extra special this year, just dont know what to buy them yet! Hailey wants Bratz dolls etc. I am not sure if they are age appropriate for her though! Jbear, your daughter isn't much younger than Hailey, would you get her Bratz dolls? BTW... "b___t floss"!!!! Very funny! Lol!

We never get through the holidays without someone having a terrible temper tantrum anyhow...About Bratz dolls, I thought I'd never let my daughter have them, but my mom bought her a tiny one and it's one of her favorite things. Her other favorites are these strange dolls called Winx, which are a little smaller than barbies, with impossible proportions and miniscule clothes...I can't even dress the things, they're so skinny and the clothes are so little. I don't know how much toys really affect kids...I always played with barbies and I didn't turn out skinny!

I'd love a new set of sofa/chairs...we have army issued, and let me tell you, it is the ugliest stuff I've ever laid eyes on.

Maybe you could get some slipcovers...they make them better now than they used to, with a separate cover for the cushions.

Hailey likes those Polley Pocket dolls. Also tiny clothes and itsy bitsy shoes... I've vacuumed up most of the accessories! About the Bratz dolls... I just haven't heard to much about them (well, other than the kazillion t.v. commercials!), and I just wasn't sure if they are too s_xy or permiscuous looking! I'm terrible, I know! But Hailey already tries to look "saxy", and I dont think she needs the encouragement. I dunno, maybe I'll surprise her with one!

Buy some king sized sheets and turn them into slip covers! I love having the new sofa and chairs! All we do is sit around and recline all the time! Even the couch has recliners on the end. Now our company can be lazy too!

I'll have to look for some slipcovers...I might get a duvet for it, too - it's as hard as rocks.

Chelsey, you crack me up. LOL

I used to have a cat that would climb the christmas tree. The first year it was a fake tree, and I came home from work and found that he'd bent all the branches down...it looked like the bundys' christmas tree. So the next year I got a really bristly real one, but he liked that even better. I also learned from him that when a cat eats tinsel, he c___ps tinsel too.
