Anybody else out there give birth to a peanut and then 4 months later find out your kids a moose. I has a 4 month old son in the 100% for everything....anybody else?

wow 100 percentile in everything....even his head j/k...they do that with my son ... only thing my son has a small head.....his weight is 90% height is 75% and head is 25%.....but the doctor says its fine. But yes your son is huge....how much does he weigh and how many inches is he?

My son is almost 4 mos old and weighs 16lbs 13oz and is 25" long. He is quite the chunkeroo! He has the fattest cheeks! I love them. He weighed 7lbs 12 oz at birth. He is in the 95th percentile ht and wt.!

Oh, Lucas's head is only in the 50th percentile. Not sure on the measurement though

well my son is about 2 and a half months old and is in the 95th percentile in length and weight. He doesnt look big unless you put him up to a baby his age hehe. he weighs 13lbs 10 ounces:P

i have a little peanut still, i suppose. my son is nearly 4 months and at his checkup he was 13 lbs 5 oz...and his height was 24.5 inches (he was 7.5 lbs at birth and 20 inches) don't know about the head though, at least not the percentile...he's always in the 50th precentile in ht and wt or close to it...do you guys think there's a possibility that he can still be tall once he's older? my husband is 6 feet and so is my father and his dad...only thing is, i'm only 5'2! oh well, he'll just be our little runt and we will love him just as well. (but he might have to take karate cla__ses just in case)

at my sons 2 month appointment he was over 14 lbs he was 95% for both height and weight.....but his weight gain has slowed down.....is this normal?

I think so, once they get to moving around a little more they tend to thin out. I think Lucas is starting to get longer instead of wider! more weeks til his 4 mo checkup and I'll see where he is at then.

HAHAHA you girls are funny! Oren is 100% for weight 18lbs 2oz. 95% for height 27 inches and 95% for head at 17 1/4. Crazy huh! my husband is average and so am I so we can't figure out were the bulk is coming from. He doesn't look fat at all because he is so tall but when I tell people how old he is they are shocked so I know he is big.

Kelly are you b___stfeeding?

kelly - December 6

NO, due to severely inverted nipples. I questioned the doctor to see if I was over feeding him but He said no. Oren gets 20 -24 oz of formula a day.

Kelly - December 6

And surprisingly enough the doc said I sould start feeding him more and suggested I add rice cereal to his bottle at night. He said at his size he needs more cals then the average 4 month old...but I don't want to turn my kid into a fatty.

Rachael mommy2lucas - December 6

That sounds about right. Lucas drinks formula and gets about 32 oz a day. Oren may just be a linebacker when he grows up!! I was a chunk as a baby, and so far Lucas looks just like me, I thinned out by 4 or 5. Tallness runs in my family, but not on dh's, so I'm curious who Lucas will take after.

my daughter was close to the size your son was and I am a very pet_te person so I was shocked. She is 7 months now and I am weighting to see if anyone anwsers the Yo baby question cause I would love to give olivia Yogurt. Anybody here no the anwser?

Not sure, my son has a milk and soy allergy so I am not supposed to try anything with dairy til he is a year just to make sure. I have started him on solids though.

Thanks everyone. I recently discovered that I am pregnant...about 5 weeks know and I am so worried that my son is going to get to the point were I can't even pick him up cause I am so huge.

Rachael mommy2lucas - December 6

Congratulations Kelly! How exciting, I hope. I'm sure you'll still be able to hold your son: )
