I gave birth almost 2 weeks ago, and my 2 middle fingers have been numb since then. I can still feel things, but it's a dull feeling. Anyone else have this? When does it go away? Thanks!

Do you have a chiropractor? You might need an adjustment. It often will relieve numbness in the fingers and toes.

I've had a numb patch on my right thigh ever since I had my daughter 4 1/2 months ago. Like you, it still has feeling, it's just dull. It doesn't bother me though.

Did you have an IV? It could be nerve compression due to all of the fluids the pumped into you. It should go away in a few weeks. If it doesn't, tell your doctor at your 6 week check-uo.

I actually have a chiropractor appt next week, so I'll be sure to mention it to him. I did have an IV, and the oxygen montior thing was on my left middle finger, which is the worse feeling one. It's not painful, but it does get annoying, and it gets worse when I shower. Hopefully the adjustment will help, or just good old time. Thanks, everyone!

i had the same numbness...it started when i was about 36 weeks and ended completely about 4 weeks after my son was born...only it was my entire right hand...slowly but surely it did fade away.
