Hey Ranya.... Adam will be 5 a week on Thursday. I can't believe how fast these 5 years have gone. They are not babies for long are they :-(

Oooops, clicked submit a bit too early! I wouldn't wanna go to America! I hate flying, and don't want to take 2 young kids on a flight that takes so long. I'm happy with staying in England lol.

How about Eurodisney?

Forgot to respond your ealier posts...Maybe I do have PPD, when I get a chance I'll read up on the exact symptoms. Re b___stfeeding, I don't know why I got the blister, I thought I was over that stage...Sometimes she gets frantic & sucks really hard, probably because of her colics. Ca__sie, I was 100% effaced but noy dilated at all.

Post-natle depression comes differently to different people. There is obvious signs, but you won't know for sure till you ask a professional. I wouldn't go to Euro Disney. I went a few year ago for a few days and didn't enjoy it at all. ........ I am so fed up of John AGAIN!!! He is asleep and has left me to bath, feed and get all 3 kids settled and in bed. I am so annoyed! The oldest 2 are playing up all the time, screaming and shouting. Ben is asleep. I fed him after I got his PJ's on and he settled straight away.

Evening ladies! I am had a better day today. I talked to dh and let him know how I feel and that has helped a lot. He got very sad and since the conversation he has been so sweet and patient. I just came back from a second appt. with a lactation consultant and I rented a hospital grade pump. Jaime's latch will not improve until he is older so I have to tought it out for now and use the pump so I can skip feedings at the b___st to allow my nipples to heal. He has a shallow latch and only growing bigger will make it less painful and harmful. I am feeling renewed and hopeful after meeting the lactation consultant. I also got about 5 hours of sleep last night, which is awesome and unheard of. Jaime has the days and nights switched. Ranya, sorry to hear you have to deal with Colic. I fear Jaime may become one. he does stay up most of the night but not crying, just awake and bored and required attention so he won't cry. lesley and Lisa and Shannon. thanks for the support, you girls are such a great help to me, it is so easy to tell you what is going on in my life without fears of you hating my dh! :) Ca__sie I was 3 cm dialated and about 70% effacced at -2 station. I had to be induced with pitocin 16 hours later due to no progress.

Gawd what a night I've had! Got a phone call at quarter to 2 this morning saying my mum is getting took into hospital. I got Ben dressed and went through. Sat there for hours waiting for all these tests to be took. They think she has diabeties. We won't know untill some point later today. She is out now. Got out 5:05 this morning. I'm rather mad at my aunty who phoned me though. She wouldn't go in with my mum cos she has work this morning! Huh!! I have 3 kids to look after, get up for school, feed and so on.... What a lousey excuse she made. I don't mind sitting with my mum, cos I love her and care about her. So after a sleepless night I am feeling pretty ok. I have the midwife coming out today so I can't even go to sleep for an hour this morning. I will grab a couple of hours later when John gets back from work. I'm gutted that he has started back again. And they have offered him a full time position! It means a lot more money but also means he will be out for up to 12 hours a day, 6 days a week. He isn't sure what he is gonna do yet. I want him to stick with the part time work, just for a couple of month though. Babies are not babies for long and I don't want him missing out on everything.

wowblots of posts yesterday!!! first ca__sie: i was 1cm dilated 50%effaced for several weeks before birth, i was induced at 10 days over and was 1cm untill 3 hours before her birth, head only engaged during pushing stage

lisa - November 23

lesley, hope your mum is ok and you get some sleep today.

Lesley - November 23

Thank you lisa :-) I am not al that tired really yet. I did have a couple of hours before the phone call. Diabeties runs in our family. Most people get it when they are 40+ so I think she has got it.

i called out the midwife today as from reading the internet i think i may have thrush in my nipples instead of mast_tis which would explain why the first antibiotics didnt work, midwife went away to talk to others and will let me know, Jasmin is being a star, she smiles and coos, jus her tounge feels like sandpaper!!!

lisa - November 23

it was thrush, so off the antibiotics and on thrusg medicine!!!

Shannon - November 23

hi girls! happy day before thanksgiving! oh yeah, and happy um, wednesday for UKers. so far so good today for me. lisa, just curious and maybe i missed something in a previous post idk, what made you think that it was thrush? i was just wondering what it looks like. oh, and i have a quetion for all you b___stfeeding. i think this is funny but i worry about overwhelming isabelle with milk... sometimes when she's sucking she'll let go suddenly and my nipple will be spraying milk everywhere! it usually gets her right in the face, poor girl lol and the only way to stop it is to put my finger on my nipple for a couple minutes. does this mean i have hyperactive letdown, or whatever it's called, or is that normal??

Ca__sie - November 23

Thanks all for your answers. I know each pregnancy/labor is different and everyone is different... I was just curious about your dilation/effacement before labor actually began. Thank you for taking the time to answer!

Good mornng.. How is everyone today? I have my oldest at the dentist today. He has been complaining of toothache for a couple of days now. Don't know how I'm going to manage with all 3 kids. I hate the twin pushchair, it doesn't fit through doors. I'm also not havin Leigh walking! Not after yesterday. Little buggar that she is. I will probably get a taxi there and back. Cost a fortune but better than getting stressed.

lisa - November 24

morning everyone! Lesley i have sympathy with the double buggy thing, i only have a single one but often get stuck in shops as free standing displays are too close together, how you push round a double one??? ive seen those cool double ones where each child sits behind in a line instead of site by side. Shannon I thought i might have thrush when the first set of antibiotics didnt work so i googled my symtoms, red sore painfull to touch nipples, stabing pains in b___st, and it said thrush, my midwife confirmed it, i now have cream, im off to b___stfeeding support group this afternnoon (sit around with tea and biscuits chat to other mums) and a midwife is there to help with feeding, i recomend this if you have a group near you. Shannon wow your milk sounds lots, my friend said she had same as you, mine never leaks, sometimes i wish it would, it must mean you have lots, Im trying to pump everyday and feed Jasmin a little in bottle so she gets used to it, incase im ill or have to go somewhere/back to work, also ive steralised an ice cube tray and have bought some freezer bags to put the cubes in, i noticed i should buy sterilised bags but there really expensive so im just going to soak them in milton solution, surely thats good enough??? How are Mary and Ranya??? Ca__sie please go tell the women who says theres favoritism on this site, she says noone answers questions!!!
