Is this the first one? I just got my first one a few weeks ago, then went back on the pill and have still been bleeding for a week, next week it will be my Af time again. I'm so aggravated with it.

I've had it 3 times since Gabriel was born... and each time it feels like my uterus is falling out! The cramps are unbearable!

How long after you delivery do you have your First period?
|
|

Yes, it means period. Although I must admit that I dont know what the abbreviation stands for! I got my first period 8 weeks after baby was born. I bled from delivery for 7 weeks, had a week off, then my period showed up. :(

I'm not that lucky - even though I exclusively b___stfeed, I got mine at 7 weeks to the day.

Did not get mine until 4 months into b___stfeeding...Now that I've gone through childbirth, I don't have cramps anymore...

I have a question about this.. I believe my postpartum check up was during the week of Nov 14th..Not exactly sure but I can call and find out... I had started spotting and they had given me the depo shot. Well I am still bleeding and its getting heavier each day. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this? I'm getting kinda worried and I'm going to call on monday for an appt. I've also found out there are more side effects to the depo shot than my doctor told me. She actually said there arent any. It was the nurse who told me about some of them. I guess mood swings, back/neck pain, and most women gain up to or over 50lbs on it which they failed to mention. I have upper back pain pretty much everyday and the mood swings.. well those are out of control. There are more serious but rare side effects related to it as well.. Has anyone else gotten the shot? I'm thinking im not going to get the second shot and switch to the pill.. what do you all think?

I had the depo shot years ago, and all I did was spot the ENTIRE time, I hated it!!
After my 3rd baby (born september 26th) I had my tubes tied, but I still haven't had a period yet, and I'm not b___stfeeding and it's been almost 10 weeks....... :) I guess we'll see what happens. I don't recommend the depo though, but then again everyone is diffirent.
