hey everyone. well my son is 2 weeks today and i just have to say everything is soooo different to when i had my girls (i have 2 daughters) the pregnancy was much more uncomfortable and man was the birth MUCH worse...quick, but a lot more painful!
as bad as it sounds i have also bonded much quicker with my son than i did with my girls, i love him to pieces ( dont get me wrong, i loved my girls with all my heart right from the beginning, i just feel twice as protective over my little boy!) and i also have to admit it is some what different changing nappies!!duh!!!
i have only just started to master the technique of changing the nappy fast enough to avoid being peed on!last week he even peed that high up into the air he peed on his forehead..poor little bugger.haha.
well any how i know this isnt a question i just wanted to share my experience coz i didnt think things would feel so different having a little boy.not that i love him any more than my girls in any way its just different.thanks for reading!!

hi, I have a 7 month old. Congrats to you and your family!! I know where you are coming from with the peeing! He rarely pees on me when his diaper is off, now. I plan on having another child someday....a little girl would be another fun challenge!! sometimes I just can't believe I am a mom!!

now they make these little cone things that are supposed to help keep you from getting peed on during changing - I think they are actually called pee-pee-tee-pees. I'm not kidding. Also I can't help but add....you're more overprotective of your son - do I sense I phsycho mother in law being born? lol
