It sounds like the beginning of cradle cap. It will become flakey. My son has had it for about 2 months, it has faded quite a bit since it started. Some recommend ma__saging baby oil or extra virgin olive oil into the scalp with brush before washing. I did not like to do that though because Blake has a lot of hair and it was very difficult to wash the oil out. I found that what seems to work best is just frequent washes with Johnsons. I do ma__sage the scalp with his brush though.

My son was getting cradle cap too. After each shampoo I put creamy baby oil on his head and ma__saged in circles with his brush. Within a couple of days it was gone.

Both of my boys had alot of hair and i found that baby oil and the brush work the best. you just might need to shampoo twice. but i find that it works the best

Jenn that is some excellent advice. My doctor said to use baby oil on my son's head as well, but he has a lot of hair. I wondered if the cradle cap would go away if I just continue to wash it with baby shampoo. I am glad to see that someone did just that and it is working. Thanks!

its definatly craddle cap. all you have to do is use baby oil and a baby comb and rub it off. then wash it off in 30 minutes
