I went out and bought some Black Cohosh to hopefully get this labour happening. The only problem is evrything I read about taking it for inducing labour says how many drops to take, but I bought pill form which says its 1 pill is equivalent to 40 mg. If anyone knows how much I should take please let me know? Or how many drops 40mg is equivalent to ? Thansk for your time.

I seriously wouldn't recommend taking it. It can increase your risk for bleeding and one of the problems is that dosages for herbs aren't standardized so it's hard to tell if you are taking too much. I'd try Casor Oil before I would try any of the Cohoshes.

not to scare you...but I saw somewhere on the internet that someone had a 7 minute contraction that killed the baby from it...so I second that...go for castor oil...

Don't take Cohosh. Any kind. You know when you read stuff about not taking any herbs while you're pregnant? Well, Cohosh is a herb and it can seriously affect the baby. It says right on the bottle not to take while pregnant. Please talk to your doc!
