well what happened? you still there or was that the real deal? i know you dont want to have your baby in october b/c of your MIL. i was an hour away from having my first son on my MIL's actual b'day!

No change since last visit. The cramping stopped at like 8:30 this morning. My doctor scheduled me to be induced on October 3rd. Its better than maybe having her on October 8th which is MIL's b-day. I just got my hopes up I guess.

well you still have a couple days. try to relax...if you think about it too much and tense up at the thought of not having her in sept your body's less likely to go into labor. When i hit 38 or 39 weeks i'll be jogging!

Girls I had to laugh this was so funny when its u its not but once you read this thread its actualy hillarious - I hope baby chooses his own day even if its a minute after 12 (hehe) wont she be peeved (haha) my 1st babies due date was on MIL bday then the little bugger played along and my contractions only started the next day I had a very long labour and only had him the next day -

Wow, we are in the same boat Britnye...I am due the 12th of October, but have been having contractions...though most likely only brackton hicks, and have been leaking some form of fluid...they swear up and down its not amniotic fluid. My MIL's b-day is the 8th of october, and absolutely refuse to have her on that day. Not that I don't love my MIL, just that I don't want to deal with all the gloating and nan na nan na's she'll send my way. It sure would be nice to be able to talk my Doc into induction before then!

Lovebugg...That is just not a good day for us is it...I will definately get the NANANANa's if I have her in the Month of October which drives me crazy....But at least I know I will have her on Oct 3rd at least and not even have the chance of getting close to the 8th. Since she is sooo low and putting so much pressure I am cleaning and walking like crazy so hopefully she will be cooperative and help me out a little and pop out today.

I am sooo jealous of you getting to be induced. I don't know if my doctor will induce me or not before the 8th, but I'm gonna beg her a whole lot and hopefully she will. The back ache and menstrual like pains are killing me...I'm sick of them...lol. Well when the little one comes let me know...I'm excited for you!

Im so excited too. My doc said we can talk about induction if you'd like and I was like YES!!! Do you want to induce me tonight?? I really didnt want to have her in October but I guess I have no choice. But the doc said we could schedule it for the 3rd which was super exciting. In about 3 days Im going to be holding my baby girl. Its hard to believe because shes still inside kicking away and to know she will be out in just 3 days. Its weird.

OMG I had contractions from 9:00 pm last night up until 5 am...they were steady and strong..and I decided if they were still there when I woke up I would go to the doc...of course they faded away...typical little baby!! Grrrr!!

Thats the worst... But hopefully your are dialating so then when it really happens you've got a start. Good Luck!!
