yes i have infact with my youngest daughter i was dilate at 2 almost 3 for like 2 weeks and when i went into labor my cervix closed up and wouldn't dilate even with med until 24 later

has the doctor mention anything that may of cause you to close back up

Well.... It has been the same doctor the whole time. She didnt say why I would close back up... You went from 3 pretty much back to zero... did the doctor tell you why you would close?

I was 1 cm dialated when I went t the hospital for false labor at 39 weeks. Then I went to my doctor and he said I was closed up tight. that was 3 weeks ago and now I am only 3cm. I have to be induced now. =( but I only have 4 days left.

they told me it was because the baby had pulled back out of the birth ca___l for a brief period of time and that since she wasn't pushing on the cervix it relax and close back up
