I was just wondering if any of you ladies had Fentanyl for your pain medication, and what your experience was like with it. Thats what our hospital offers for pain meds.

I had them give me a little of this drug in my IV and it doesn't work for much more than 15min at a time. It kinda made me feel drunk and I didn't care what was going on but still felt the contractions. I used gas and air as well though.

Did anyone find it made them sick to their stomach?

dont do it. i had it and it didn't do a THING for the pain...I just hardly remember what the labor was like because I kind of felt drunk. I would not recommend it and I myself will never have it again.
