Okay, so i had a doctors apt yesterday, and i was 4 cm dilated. My doctor also told me that she could feel my water, and that most likely as soon as i go into labor, and have a "real" contraction (not a braxton hix contraction) that it will most likely cause my water to break. So my questions to everyone are, if you have had a baby, what caused you to go into labor, and how soon after you did it did you go into labor. OR, if your water broke before you had contractions or went into labor, what caused your water to break?

Honestly the best way to bring on labor...now don't laugh it works and that is: s_x, s_x and more s_x!!!

Don't have s_x without asking you doctor first. I walked to breake mine. I started at noon one day walked 2 miles at the local park went home got a shower and the next day was in labor. Don't try castor oil though. Everyone told me it would work but it didn't.
