Had Baby B4 40 Weeks And First Child

Just wondering how many of you had your baby before the official 40 week mark, and itwas your first child! I know it is not common, just wondering how often it really happens.

both my children were early. The first by 2wks and the second by 3wks. Your due date is a guidline not set in stone. A birth at 36wks is considered "term" and from 38wks on is "full term". The big concern for a pre term birht is not so much the birth weight but the development of the baby's lungs.

i wished! I went 11 days over and was induced, my mums first(my brother came at 36 weeks) didnt run in family though!

My mother had 3 children before their due dates. One SIL had 2 of three early including the first. My other SIL had both of hers quite early. My friend had her first a couple of weeks before the due date. I hardly know anyone who didn't have their first baby before the due date. I'll probably be the one to go 42 weeks!

i had my firt at 36 weeks, hopeing second will hold out a bit longer

I had my first child at 38.5 weeks. I was definately ready for him to come out.

I am pregnant with my first, so I dont have personal experience with this, but my husbands sister had both of her kids 2 to 3 weeks early. It seems to me that women who do have the kids early tend to have all their children a little early.

i had my first born a month ago and it was at 39.4 weeks this is still normal but because of that my baby produced serious jaundice which was terryfying but to my knowleadge was common also

I had my first at 37.4 weeks but to my surpise my second came only two days early.
