Do all women who give birth naturally get hemroids from pushing during labor? What percentage get them? This is my first time and I am so afraid of them, especially since my sister-in-law said they never go away, they just shrink??? Is that true also?

Not everyone gets them. I did with my second child. But you just use the cream and a sits bath. I put epsoms salt and very warm water and made a sallow bath to sit in. Hence sits bath. They do go away, at least mine did. I had them one more time when my son was six months old but that was it. dont worry

My dd is 3 weeks, I got them : (. I really didn't know much about them either. It took about three days for them to show up, they didn't really hurt and I was so swollen from birth they were the last thing on my mind. The v____al swelling went away pretty fast. Pooping didn't hurt at all, and about week 2 they were almost gone. Good Luck

Hi! I'm 22 weeks and I have the lovely hemorrhoids (sp)! I've had them since 18 weeks, so I don't know how much of a result of delivery they are!
