I am not currently pregnant but I plan to start TTC within the next 6 months. So please don't get angry at a non-expecting woman posting on here but I have a question. I have Inflammatory bowel disease (UC) and was just wondering if labor pain will be any worse than what I already go through. Maybe if there is anyone here who has gone through pregnancy and labor with IBD or knows someone who did could give some information? I have tried looking up information but I have turned up nothing except for the general "it could worsen" line.
I intend to have a child even if the risks toi my health are there because it is something I have always wanted. Ever since I was a little girl I have always wanted to be a mother and I am determined to make that happen. I'm just wondering pain wise if anyone has any information?
I would ask my doctor except for the fact that I don't have one. I need to get a PCP when I move back down to live with my fiance but I digress.
