I had my 38 weeks appt. today and now I am having a lot of pink discharge and she is is moving around a lot down there. I am having more (strong!) contractions. Why is this happening?

Did your doctor do an interal? If so, that is probably the cause for the pink discharge....Internals at this point can cause some spotting or bleeding. Are your contractions regular? Maybe doing the internal put you into labor, or maybe you are just experiencing more BH contractions from it.
